nearly every gadget running with battery has a integrated temperature sensor to control or look that the battery isnt going to burn... when you charge the battery with a bad Loading equipment (maybe not original) it can get too hot and it stops the charging process for example.

And lookey-there... a bluetooth icon. Now the question is, is that disabled, inactive, or non-existent? Bluetooth framework on the device, now evidence of it in the self-test. Bluetooth for the iTouch Jailbreak Win!

err i think thats bogus.

the 'serial number' is a cheereos icon.

edit: nvm. i think its legit. after taking a second look at the build version.

It is legit, a few touchs shipped without os x and instead shipped in some sort of diagnostic only mode. it's using the same diagnostic software as iphone which is why it has bluetooth.

Temperature sensor is not confirmed either. everyone of these diagnostic screenshots shows the temp around 40-45. and i highly doubt thats in fahrenheit. So it's probably in celsius. Which means if their running at 45 c thats about 113f, this is possible as it does get quite hot at times, but being so thin i think 113 would be quite noticably uncomfertable to the touch. not to mention, it's not doing anything in diagnostic mode, so why is it running so hot? so i'm not convinced there is a temp sensor.

I tried to start the Bluetooth server, but it fails and it seems there is no bluetooth in the iPod touch.
