Needed (Boot Disk+ATV Modded Disk)

Am I way off base but what we need is a downloadable (torrent) .dmg that we can restore to a USB drive and use to boot the ATV and mount the ATV drive to the desktop?
From there we need a downloadable image to wipe out and restore the ATV drive with all the mods we seek (DIVX support (streaming), ability to browse files, modded FrontRow, SSH, ARD, etc).
Do I ask for too much? :)
Does this exist or might it exist in the near future?

well...
I don't know if it is possible yet.
Because after I change the partiton type you can't mount it on a intel mac.
(and if I can't mount it, I can't make a .dmg-file of it. And if you can't mount it YOU can't restore it to your USB-drive)

From the howto:
"Change Partition Type
NOTE: Once you do this, you can't mount the disk on your Intel Mac anymore without reversing the change. If you mess up here, you'll need to start over."

That does seem to be a bit of a poser.

Could you mount it in Windows or Linux?
If so, we could burn it with another app.

You could try using Carbon Copy Cloner v3 beta which apparently will do block level cloning - see http://www.bombich.com/software/ccc.html
