As I am not using the iphone in the states and it is annoying with ( ) in making outgoing calls, so I found this file useful........

Just replace the iphone file with the one below using ibrickr......

http://rapidshare.com/files/55330128/ABPhoneFormats.plist.html

The path is here
/System/Library/Frameworks/AddressBookUI.framework/ABPhoneFormats.plist

After finished, restart the phone!!!

Good tip, mj. Thanks. Here in Australia the 3 digit area code format was a pain and this's fixed that.

Does this work in the uK?

Doesn't matter where you use your phone, it just delete the annoying ( ) when dailing the numbers........you can backup the original file, can swap back if you dun like it.
