Weird Dock LAG

Hi all! this is my first post here. I'm using 10.4.9 with 8.9.1 kernel and i have a really weird problem with my dock. When magnification is ON, and you do , for example software update (while checking for new updates) my dock gets lagged a lot, its not that smooth magnification. It also happens when im connecting to msn messenger or playing videos (QT or videolan, its the same)


Im on AMD, dual opteron 165 with netkas and semthex x2 kernel. Besides that, all is smooth. Can AMD users check this?
It happened to me before, with 8.8.1. I've enabled Q2D Extreme and still happens.

From that I'd think he has QE/CI ;)

(From an iMac C2D) When launching apps, yes, the dock stutters for a few seconds... nothing seems wrong with that. I tried playing movies and the dock takes a small frame drop- barely noticeable... not as much as you said, though.

No, i run CI and QE. Like i said, i tried Q2DExtreme also, but its the same. Its not THAT noticeable but it is, framedrop.
