Playing DVD ISO's over network using VLC ?

hi,
is it possible to play DVD Images (ISO/IMG) over a network (From a central server)
using VLC/Frontrow once OSX is installed on AppleTV?
if so will it output DD5.1 through the optical out?

YOu could probably use vlc to stream it then use vlc to connect to the stream...though might not be very high quality due bandwidth...optical would not work unless the sound is supported.
