Hi there,
I have installed the developer preview of 10.6 Snow Leopard and tried the Exchange Support in the Apple Apps...
And right out of the box it worked great. But all data was read-only, so I was not able to add a new event or delete or write a mail.
Did someone also tried this. Is it currently read only due to the developer preview state?
Regards,
Stefan

Very cute StefanM...
Nice big red, angry frowny face because a super-ultra early pre-released OS that hasn't even been seeded to ADC members is not feature complete.
Personally, I would be very disappointed if it was feature complete with everything reliably working from day one, and then being delayed for no reason whatsoever. That's the whole point of beta testing and developer seeding.

If your waiting for that then get the "MissingSync" or Entourage. Either thing will work with exchange great. Entourage is by MS and also allows you to access public folders if you have them on your server.

Am I truly the only person in the world who truly hates useless comments from new subscribers such as frfr's very first post?
Waiting for it!
Are you kidding me?
What else would you be doing?!?!? Holding Apple software engineers at gunpoint, forcing them to code faster and provide their work to you in real-time after every individual keystroke?
I am sure that I sound an awful lot like I am beating a dead horse here, but that damn zombie equine just won't stay down!
It would be a totally different story if a new user asked an outrageously stupid question that could be solved in a few seconds of searching as they tend to contribute to valid discussions rather than just jumping in with useless crap for no apparent reason.
Personally, I would like my little "New Activity" alert on a section like this to apply to useful information like "A new build was released! Go check your ADC Accounts!" (There is not, by the way... same old build that we have had for the past couple weeks... just making a point.) or something else like the fact that OpenCL has been finalized and is expected to have it's first technology previews in the next month (You know, just like Gizmodo has been running for the past few days).
I view it this way... If you contribute to a community such as this, try first forming a coherent thought and not be one of the many people out there who strive with every ounce of energy they have to simply be noticed by the world in some little way because deep down they are sad, lonely and pathetic creatures (I of course am referring to the many "First Post, bitches!" that wind up on Slashdot on an hourly basis).
frfr, you are better than those mouth breathing hicks, but not by enough...
Please, please, please *try* to contribute something to someone, somewhere at some point in your life. Don't let your sins of today be an indication of how you intend to live the rest of your existence!
