im using an imac bought early september 2.0 ghz 250 gb hardrive. It came with tiger and i recently upgraded to leopard worked great especially since i didnt wipe the hardrive for a clean install. My only problem is when i use boot camp assistant it gets stuck at partitioning hardrive and i have to quit bootcamp assistant. Could someone confirm maybe that im not waiting long enough for it to partition or something, because when i partitioned my uncles hardrive i didnt have to wait 2 minutes. thanks guys:hack::hack::hack::hack:

You need to bring up disk utility. Then do a check and repair of your hard drive . Bootcamp assistant may have allready partitioned the space but failed to complete its task ( something that happened to me ). If this is the case then you will need to boot up from the leopard ( or even tiger ) boot disks and grab the space back . (there is a partition manager on one of the menus before you tell the boot cd to start working (just after selecting the language i seem to recall )

Boot camp can take ten minutes or more to repartition your disk. If you did not wipe the drive recently, your data may be fragmented and spread into the area that will be used for the new partition. In this case, wait at least one hour. Boot Camp Assistant rarely crashes — but it often appears frozen when it's doing important work.
