I had to realize that the Leopard bundled with my new Macbook Pro is a model-specific version it can't install on other models.
Is there any Guide which explains how to build a full version from an OEM Leopard?
I found this post (insanelymac forum), so i'm confident it will be possible to do this:
"I used to have a bookmark to a blog entry on how to go into the install DVD that came with a specific model mac and modify the OS X installer config file to recognise a larger list (as with the full retail OS X) of machine types when the installer checks to see if you "meet the minimum requirements". I've lost all my links to how to do the modification and rebuilding of the OS X installer so it will install on other model macs."
