Ninja Edit: This is probably why RIP Dev took over! Nullriver would not have gotten a second glance if they were actively making Installer and AppStore apps!

Lol read this on a tech blog earlier , its still in the store but you cant buy it. As far as nullriver and installer i hope they take it back over, i miss those guys. I bet a memeber off the app store team will be killed over this either by jobs or one of the carriers, any bets att will kill that guy who approved it:rolleyes:

If you try searching for it, then it will not come up. I used the link as described and it downloaded and installed great right on the phone. I'll have to wait until I get home from work to actually try it out though.

I called Rogers earlier. For all those who are wondering, the 6GB $30 plan includes tethering. I dont know about AT&T but with Rogers, your allowed to tether to your laptop without being charged extra.

I'm still using the free method. Install 3proxy and run a SOCKS proxy.

I can't get this to work. Always shows 0 connections.

I have my my on 192.168.10.2 and the iphone and the proxy (on mac) at 192.168.10.1

And it doesn't work. :/

Any other settings I should fix? like submask or any other?

Time got away from me last evening and I didn't get this working, but I have it up and am using it now. Pretty cool. For those having a problem, the only thing I did differently than the instructions is I gave it a subnet mask as well as a static ip address. The instructions just specify to give the computer and iphone an ip address which didn't work for me. As soon as I gave it a subnet mask, which in my case is 255.255.0.0, it is working fine.
