[iTunes] Formatted computer and lost bought songs

hey, i reinstalled my os x and i found i lost the songs i bought off itunes, and when i click Store>check for purchases. it says all my purchased items have been downloaded in this account, is there a way to get them back? i did a backup but i forgot some :s

Call apple and say you're hard drive crashed and you did not have a back up they will only give you one download tho. And say you dont even have an ipod. That should work I had to do that once
