Just did a Full GEO Hot hardware unlock which works great....besides my Bluetooth.

When turning on it hangs with a spinning wheel.
I tried to put the phone in Flight Mode and then to Enable Bluetooth and still NOTHING...

Any Ideas?

Did you remember to delete (or rename) the termcap file and then reboot?

Airplane trick worked for me either. On (airplane mode). Go to bluetooth, ask to enable bluetooth. Bluetooth come to live again! Good tip!

Has anyone found a solution if the airplane trick doesn't work and the /etc/termcap file does not exist?

I don't have the tempcap folder/file and i've tried the airplane trick too, doesn't work.

I have 2 iphones, it's the same on both, didn't work out straight out the box either!

Just restored, jailbreaked, activated.

Bluetooth - nothing

Then tried Airplane fix - nothing.

Used windows, iBrickr and anySIM method to unlock. (however bluetooth never worked out the box)

Help!

Talking to myself here but...

It seems like iPhone bluetooth does NOT connect to anything other than bluetooth headsets?

Therefore my bluetooth is working but can't find anything.

Can someone please confirm or deny this, should my computer see my iPhone via bluetooth?

That is correct. Headsets only.

I have paired my unlocked phone to my audi handsfree car kit....

Lovely

But I also have a jabra headset and a bluphones wireless headset for bluetooth

These 2 devices don't show up....

Is this right, surely headsets should work.

Also how come you can't turn the bluetooth into on and not just discoverable all the time.
When you go into the bluetooth menu you can't change the phones bluetooth name or anything. It looks like the phone is always looking for devices as well.

Surely this is right ????
