[Wifi] Play WiFi games over internet with xlink?

Does anything think it would be possible to play wifi games (like texas holdem) over the internet using apps like xlink for the xbox. It is the same idea of connecting systems over the internet that were made for a lan. Any ideas?

that would be tight. i remember using stuff like xlink for halo 1 and stuff. awesome.
