Truphone for the iPhone is now available in the AppStore!!! :D

It's something.... I will wait for an app like Fring coming to the (jailbroken) iPhone 2.0 firmware. We were discussing it at http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=20856&page=16 :
The tariffs are relatively high (over two times the Skype-Out rates, and even farther above the rates at the cheapest SIP providers). Obviously the app can't run in the background (Apple won't allow it), so receiving calls is practically a no-no. Compatibility with Skype: no. With SIP: no. Connecting over the 3G connection: don't know (wouldn't Apple get in trouble with the phone companies?). But at least the application is free.

You mean you can buy apps using an argentinean account?

(Isn't it crazy how this is supposed to be the inter(national)net, and so many companies fail to see that everybody is not only US? I would have already spend about 100 dollars would have i been able to buy from USA store)

Search thw net there are ways to get an us account. Its pretty easy i have a german, french and us one :-)
