I'm just curious as to whether anyone has tried to run Mail, Address Book, and iCal (i.e. Exchange enabled) from the Snow Leopard preview on 10.5? I know there are a series of reasons this might not work, but if it did...

If this works it might be simpler than finding and installing SL on my test system.

Thanks in advance.

The quick answer is "they don't work".

The long answer is also "they don't work" as Leopard lacks the libraries necessary to run the new apps. It is *possible* that one *could* copy over VERY LARGE portions of SnowLeopard over a Leopard installation to *make* these apps work, however doing so would probably introduce yourself directly to the speed and performance issues that currently exist right on Snow Leopard.
