[Remote][Solved] iTunes does not see my iPhone over WiFi

Any one else having problems with Apple's remote app for itunes. I'm on a PC and whenever I follow all of Apple's instructions to connect with itunes, I simply don't see my iPhone in the devices list.

Any and all suggestions appreciated

Thats odd mine worked very fast. Try this:

Have iTunes open and at the iTunes store home page or your library of music. Then open Remote on your iPhone. Choose your library, then look at the code it gives you. Go to iTunes and wait a second, it should see your iPhone. Click on it in the devices list and type in the code. Now it should work. If it doesnt make sure you arent plugged in to your PC.

Stupid me, I should have thought to disable bitdefender's firewall before trying this. Let this be a lesson to all. :D
