[USB] Problems Seeing HD

hey people, i have a freecom usb hd which i was using on os x (various different ones)
plugged it into a mac with 9.2, nothing happened so unplugged it and now it wont come up on any other os x mac.
Im stuck on what to do?? hellp, plus i need all the data on the hd

Hi, check first on Apple System Profiler (/Applications/Utilities/) if the USB section to make sure the USB enclosure and the disk are recognized.

Then check in Disk Utility (same path) if the disk is mounted. If not try to select its partition and click mount. If it doesn't mount, try to repair it (with the repair button).

You can try to rebuild it with Disk Warrior 4.
