When I try to download applications from appstore on to my iPhone it won't download and returns back to my home page (where all the icons are)
shop list won't also save new items or delete old items
Never used to have a problem with downloading etc
tried to delete shop list and downloaded it again but still not saving amendments
also I have 14 updates to do on appstore and won't update that either
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Are sure you are not talking about Installer.app ?
The AppStore is not yet open, it will come up after the 2.0 Firmware release, which will occur just after the iPhone 3G release.

is the icon blue with white lines accross it? if so its installer, you probably have a modified installer

Ha lmao, yeah sounds like you may have used something like ITA (Installer to AppStore) which changed the icon and the name of the app, but its still installer.

Yeah! Its obvious that AppStore doesnt work on anything less than 2.0 fw because of the new API issues...

i dont recall installer having a "shop list"
So we've got 2 possible solutions:
- This post comes from the future.
- By saying "Shop list" he/she meant to say the Installer's Featured apps list.
Only leannebowman can confirm this, the problem is to send this thread to the future. :D

I think he's talking about the sources list.
Even if he was on 2.0 and he had the Appstore app, it wouldn't work.

i wonder if tweaking one of the .plists would allow access to the appstore

the problem is to send this thread to the future. :D
try this method
/send "thread name" -date "future or past date"
note that date format should be "ddMMyyyy-hhmmss" :D
