[Mac Mini] Ram issue

ok, i have a Intel Core Duo mac Mini 1.66 GHz it came with 512MB RAM, i bought 2 2GB Dual Channel ram sticks, i put both into my Mini, and plugged it in. the little light on the mini turned on but nothing else... so i took out one of the rams and it turned on fine.. i have no clue what the problem is ?


does the mac mini not accep Dual Channel RAM?

also yes it is mac ram.. on the packaging it says for Mac or PC


any help would be great !!

Your Mac Mini can only support 2GB (Intel Core Duo mac Mini 1.66 GHz)
You can put 2 GB RAM, but only in one socket

ohhh.. didnt know that :\
i thought they held 4GB's >.<
