Okay, so with OS X 10.6 being mentioned more often with a code name already attached to it (aka. Snow Leopard), I think it's time for a simple post about why these beta releases are important to developers.
First off, let me just say this: No matter how many times you PM a developer or ask for these beta releases, you will not get a copy. This is to protect the people who are being kind enough to provide these images. The closer it stays, the easier it is to protect.
Now, with that out of the way, it's highly unlikely that any attention will be given to the GUI, it's just not as important as the underlying features that drive the system. Just because it looks like 10.5 does not mean that it's fake. Leopard didn't get any visual changes until 9a4xx!
The first ADC release of Snow Leopard is 10A96. Trust me, I just know.
Don't count out the original method of booting >.o
Other than that, I'm still getting back in the game, so expect to see something in the future from me (http://bikedude880.freeflux.net) :)
[CycloneFr] bikedude880: OSX betas are shitty anyway
