I dont think we will get info about this from Apple, but maybe from our carriers soon or later, near July.
Anyway, this depends on the Carrier selling iPhone in your country. What i mean is, for example here where i live, Argentina, we have Claro, wich is part of America Movil who is releasing the iPhone in July 11 in Mexico... so we guess we are getting it very soon past that date, same month maybe. :)
What cell carrier is releasing iPhone in India?

Comming July. Like i though, is not on 11 July, but the same month. Must be the same to most international carriers who got em on the 22 first countries.
This is from http://www.claro.com.ar or www.claroargentina.com.ar

Hi,
What about India, when's the launch date, and will it be already unlocked and still for 200$ (approx Rs. 9000).
Also as per grey markey, used iphone 8GB is selling for around 400$.
but now considering the launch in US on 11 july.
Should i sell it now, and use Nokia N91.
As i have to go to trip from 1st july-12 july.
What should i do, to not sell my iphone 8GB (2G) for pennies !
Will it sell above $ 400 on ebay U.S. or any other country's auction site !
I bought it from US for $ 400, when it was available in India for 630 $.

Operators will need to integrate visual voicemail and a AGPS server. I just left a contract in Africa, where we were TRYING to get the iphone, but had we got a contract we are no where near ready to deploy.
Also I suspect that as iphone uses iTunes as shop for application sales, a lot of issues are going on about credit card payments in Africa being integrated with a cut down itunes. Itunes for music I cannot see being launched in all the African countries. But is that is the case, then wow, people are going to be surprised.
I have seen no analyst link the lack of itunes to new countries in Africa etc.
Were itunes to launch in 50+ additional counties - well by by operator content. IN Africa, content providers are getting 50/50 at best. Apple pays 30/70.

They dont need to integrate Visual Voicemail or A-GPS Server, WTF with this? A-GPS works without a server from any carrier. Just need to get signal from Satellites, if not from Cell Towers, and/ord WiFi. And talking about Visual Voicemail, it can work just like it was with First Gen iPhones in other Countries... press the Voicemail button and it calls your voicemail, easy as that.
About iTunes on every country that gets Oficial iPhones launch, well.. that is something im worried about. We will just need to wait till July at least.

".......They dont need to integrate Visual Voicemail....."
Um yes they do. I think you need to understand a bit better how it works.
"......dont need to integrate ........ A-GPS Server, WTF with this?.....
"......An A-GPS receiver can address these problems in several ways, using an Assistance Server:
The Assistance Server can locate the phone roughly by what cell site it is connected to on the cellular network.
The Assistance Server has a good satellite signal, and lots of computation power, so it can compare fragmentary signals relayed to it by cell phones, with the satellite signal it receives directly, and then inform the cell phone or emergency services of the cell phone's position.
It can supply orbital data for the GPS satellites to the cell phone, enabling the cell phone to lock to the satellites when it otherwise could not, and autonomously calculate its position.
By having accurate, surveyed coordinates for the cell site towers, it can have better knowledge of ionospheric conditions and other errors affecting the GPS signal than the cell phone alone, enabling more precise calculation of position. (See also Wide Area Augmentation System)...."
