Does anyone know if these are used during the firmware update/restore process?

I've gotten the "No WiFi" error and the inability to complete firmware restore via itunes, yet my phone was fully functional (except wifi/gsm) before the restore process.. and i can still iPHUC in to it so i dont think its bricked. My hunch is that it cant complete a firmware restore because i've done something to the white antenna cables and it cant communicate with the sim module or the antennas...

Can anyone confirm that these are used during the firmware restore process?

I don't think it's because of the cable. The No Wifi appears because the baseband firmware has been deleted by ieraser. So you need to restore to put it back. Why the firmware doesn't restore is another question. I stoped 2 times the unlock process in the middle, got each time the no wifi indication and have been able to restore. Seem I have been lucky if I look at all thread about problem restoring in that situation (error 1011 for example).
