HW unlock in Hungary

I'm glad to find an iPhone freak in Hungary :P
I'm in Hungary as well and pretty mad to get an iPhone but only if it would be possible to somehow unlock it! How did you do it?

Confirm, Vodafone HU Pre-paid work well, Voice/sms/edge without problem.

I used Geo's method.

Geo's method used here too :D Disassemly has been the most frustrating for me, the other parts were not so tricky :rolleyes:

Hi Guys,

I am also in Hungary, and will be expecting my Iphone in a few days.

Meantime I would like to ask the following:

Will I be able to set the Time-zone to GMT+1 and display Budapest as home town? Will Google maps work here? It works on my HTC, but thats WM, and wondering if iPhone didnt lock it to US only.

Thanks a lot, and salute Mikey for visiting Eger, I am thinking of going there myself in a few days, to the Valley of the Beautiful Women, and drink wine till my eyes pop out :)

everything is working just fine! Call in/out, SMS in/out, edge all working. You will not have any problems with timezones and Google. Thumbs up for Eger, have fun!

Thanks for getting back. How about Youtube? I am going to use it on PGSM.

Also, a not so typical question, how do you charge the phone? With a US-EU adapter, or you got some other charger for it?

Miután végeztél az ieraser futtatással, írd be az iunlocker parancsot, de NE NYOMJ ENTERT. Ha úgy látod/érzed, hogy a két pontot összekötötted, jöhet az enter - kérj meg vkit, hogy nyomja meg, mert elég nehéz egy kézzel.

Ha nem jól kötötted össze, akkor kérni fogja újból: "connect the test points". Ha sikerült, akkor azt fogja kérni, hogy nyomj le egy karatert és üss entert. Kb 1 másodpercig kell összeérinteni. Ha gáz van szólj.
