Looks like the 3G iphones have landed in the US.

June is approaching and Apple like to release new products the same day they're announced if possible so it's quite likely that this a delivery of iPhone 3Gs or the rumoured MID. Think before you post.

The new 3G iPhones have now arrived to Apple stores and carriers worldwide! Apple's CEO Steve Jobs will be introducing this new iPhone during his WWDC keynote on 9th June.

Not possible unless 3G iPhone will come with 1.1.4 installed on them (which is impossible), as 2.0 is not at final stages yet.

What if they upgrade the software just before the release?
Maybe, nobody of us know if the final packaging is made in china or america or wherever.

Have you considered there may be a 1.3.0 or 1.5.0 or some such 1.x.x implementation Apple have been developing at the same time as 2.0.0 rather like Tiger 10.4.11 was released after Leopard (10.5) was released? Still possible its a new iPhone revision.

That is possible but it just seems higly unlikely, just my opinion

there wont be an 1.30 oder something like that on the new iphones. on 6/9 there will be released the new 2.0 firmware and this firmware will be installed on the new iphone.

in these contaierns, there are 7,5 million units in it. apple wants to sell 10 million this year. an many more iphones get the new iphone this summer. so 7,5 million only für the usa is a little lot. they simply changed their decleration.

and there are getting packed in china, not in the usa. if you order an apple product, it will be built in china and sent from there directly to yours. this is called built-to-order an apple does this with nearly all product, including ipods...
