Has anyone used the DigiDesign hardware on a Hackintosh?

I have a working Hackintosh with (fully working - I can capture from my Sony FX-1 HDV camcorder) FireWire and USB 2.0. I would like to get a sound device that will work with both Windows and OSX, and I think the DigiDesign hardware fits that category. It's either that or an M-Audio, but from what I read in the other thread, it has to do some weird firmware change thing. Not that it really bothers me, but I switch back and forth quite a bit.

Anyways, the hardware would have to run with ProTools so it's Digidesign or M-Audio.

Thanks in advance!

I ´ve succesfully tested a Mbox 1, Mbox 2, and even a Protools HD PCI core card on different hackintosh and all them work flawless.

Yea a friend of mine has a Digi002 (non-rack) that works fine on my AMD Hackintosh. As long as your firewire works in OSX, it should work.

I haven't tried the USB stuff but I'm confident that would work fine too.

I just wish the DigiDesign hardware wasn't so expensive! Even the used stuff is mucho bucko on eBay.
