visual voicmail is only for offcial carriers, are you offcial?

What happens when you have a voicemail?


Does it ask for a password when you go to voicemail?


If it does just type in your phone number with area code as the password that will fix it.

it goes to a keypad but has automatically started calling voicemail

Activated it through iTunes? If not and all you have is an ATT account then you do not have visual voicemail,

if it just boots you to the calling voicemail screen just switch airplane mode on and off till it ask for a password
