2.0 Locate Me feature

Have you guys noticed that the Locate Me feature in Google Maps behaves differently in 2.0 beta? The blue circle wobbles in and out when you first press the button. Then it continues to search for Wifi Signals. If it finds one, it zooms in further and the blue circle shrinks.

Sounds like the first step to having a maps-app that follows you as you travel (a la gps)

I found the same thing on 2.0. Are you seeing glitchy behavior on 2.0 like the ipod skipping or stoping when browsing? I also noticed that I can't scroll my contacts via the right fast scroll bar which is a problem for me since I have 2200 contacts.

dude 2.0 is so buggy. im goin back to 1.1.4.
