Hi all. I am in a bit of a panic right now. I watched the engadget video and followed the step by step guide on mod my iphone. After going to the ipsw builder option, I selected "unlock baseband" since I will be using it with t-mobile. When I click "ok", it asks me to "Please locate the two bootloader files. You only need to do this once." And it has two browse buttons for me to find "Bootloader 3.9 image" and "Bootloader 4.6 image". This step was not in the engadget video or on any other guides. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your time and help!

Does the tool do MD5 or SHA-1 on the bootloader files?

A '.rar' file is like a zip file. You can download a compression tool like winrar to open it, then extract the files that have been packed in it.

not sure if you are on win or mac but you need to extract the .rar, its like a zip file but a different extention so use winrar on win or rar expander on mac (or something similar doesn't matter) to extract the 2 files inside which should be .bin files

Thank you!!! I just extracted it. The directions from iclarified helped me through this and y'all pointed me exactly in the right direction. Much thanks!
