Went from unlocked with ZiPhone to Locked with PwangeTool?

I have an 8GB iPhone with 1.1.4 (Jailbroken, Activated and Unlocked with ZiPhone)... I Pwned it with the PwnageTool and when it launched the BootNeuter and went through it's process it locked my phone (no radio for calls...) when it switched to the 4.6 bootloader... I was on 3.9

Anyone else having this issue... :confused:

Do not worry :hack: restart the iphone........ open bootneuter......u will see the unlock button is off..... toggle it to on..... it will flash the baseband..... and unlock it..... restart again.... and now you have a working pwnone :p wifi calls everything working

ehhhh.... I went back to the unlocked version of my phone (using ZiPhone...) and now when I try to restore the custom firmware (made with the PwnageTool) I am getting a 1604 Error in itunes...

Sometimes I think I make things harder than they need to be... :(

Heh :) These things happen.

Just Pwn it again as you've flashed out the neutered BL. After that you should be fine. (Just remember to select BN and Unlock :) )

Yes you did make it hard on yourself..by running ziphone again you removed the pwnage hack... follow these steps and it should work.

1. Open Pwnagetool.
2. select the ORIGINAL 1.1.4 firmware
3. iPWN your iphone AGAIN
4. open the IPSW builder.. select everything EXCEPT downgrade/upgrade bootloader and you can also leave the custom images unchecked.
5. compile the firmware file.
6. Close pwnagetool
7. Boot iphone in recoverymode
8. open itunes restore via ALT -> Restore to your custom firmware file
9. DONE!!

Ok... I got my custom 1.1.4 firmware installed and my iPhone is Pwned....

Although it seems as though that I can't use the 4.6 Bootloader... I have to use the 3.9

I have the Neuter toggle ON as well as the Unlock toggle.

Any reason the 4.6 will not work? Just curious that's all. Thanks.

Probably because you used ZiPhone which downgraded your bootloader to 3.9. And then when you choosed IPSW Builder you didnt put a cross in Upgrade to 4.6..

BUT im just guessing! I dont have Pwnage yet

My phone was originally a 3.9 OTB... So I am not sure... I didn't want to upgrade to 4.6 unless I know for sure it will be unlocked... I will have to wait for someone to confirm this.

I might start a topic on it.

You should be able to freely go between 3.9 or 4.6 using BootNeuter.

BTW - 4.6 is fully unlocked on my iPhone using BootNeuter. I was using 3.9FB (iLibery+), but then went back to 4.6 (my iPhone was 4.6 OTB)
