The tool can't detect my phone. I put it into recovery mode, loaded up the tool... I've unplugged the dock from the USB port, rebooted the computer... Any suggestions? The iPwner button is just greyed out...

This is how i did it:
Remove iphone from dock, switch phone off. press and hold home button, then connect to dock.
Itunes will open, close it. Now open pwned: should work

No luck :-( I just tried killing the iTunes helper and then starting the tool, but it still won't recognize it. The IPSW Builder button is also disabled.

Did you load a 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 ipsw file first?
Because the other buttons will be grayed out if you don't.

That did it, as soon as I loaded a 1.1.4 ipsw file into the tool, the buttons appeared. I just assumed I didn't need to load the file first to begin the process.
Thanks for your help!
