View Full Version : Wifi problem & proposed Fix

I Have the "invalid calibration" error.
My phone is a 16Gg - 1.1.3 OOB

The problem appear first time after using ziphone refurb option.
Description of the problem:
No WIFI/Bluetooth - Grayed
Phone won't ring if on sleep mode.
All other device function work perfectly . Can make call's and recieve (if the phone is on); and
EDGE working

After using ibooterwin as suggested here:

the the command radio readnvram
it gives me this:

Read 1536 bytes from nvram in 2009583 usec.
Type: 0xffff Size: 0xfffa Purpose: Not Avaliable


Any suggestions ?

On the page:

You can check if your phone's baseband nvram is corrupted using ibooter. Connect to your phone, give the command radio readnvram and check if you see 3 mac addresses (wifi, bluetooth, ethernet), wifi calibration checksum and build tag. If you dont see one of the fields you should use the tool. If you see all the fields but are experiencing the grey wifi problem you probably have another issue and we dont advise you to use this tool.

Well this just worked for my, I have my Wifi back and also bluetooth, but now no signal, I'm going to DFU REstore and will unlock again with iplus 2.0b. Also wifi can't join networks. Will report back.

i can;t join any network and sometime can;t find any network

anyone did?

try to Reset the network setting or all setting

also my imei shows 0049
but i can make a call
i restored 114 then run iLiberty+
any idea?

I use MuscleNerd tool and work 100%

But there is new payload under iliberty 1.3 that uses MuscleNerd solution! And that's the best way now.
Simply download iliberty+ 1.3, go the donwload TAB select the swifi fix from musclenerd, than you can follow the guide from the point:

"Updating and patching baseband with bootneuter"
