View Full Version : Going from original 3.9 to 4.6 using BootNeuter
Posting that as a new thread as it was a common request, thanks to BootNeuter included in the Pwnage release http://wikee.iphwn.org/sgold_bootrom:bootneuter you can now reflash your phone to 4.6 even if it was downgraded to 3.9 original (non fakeblank).
Thanks to MuscleNerd, gray, chris, wizdaz, all other iPhone Dev Team members and geohot for the extended secpack erase method.

I can read since 34 years...
I developed my first multi-bootloader in Assembler for IBM mainframes 20 years ago, I know what I'm speaking of.
This was a conclusion how it must work, not how it might work...
Anyway, congratz to the dev team for having and more spending the time to develop pwnage.
Cheers

Skygear, i admit i am not a computer nerd (not that being a computer nerd is something bad), but my specialty is the human body (ie: i am 1year from qualifying as a doctor). I asked for an easy guide because i don't want to brick my iphone, unlike people who upgrade and claim"i bricked my phone, what do i do? booohoo"
