hi everybody,
ever since i've unlocked my phone, after connecting to the wifi, after some time phone either freezes or starts to constantly reboot. After that the phone starts to overheat and battery goes down brutally fast... Only way to avoid this is keep the wifi off.
I've aready tried all kinds of restoring, so I figured that last option would be reflash BB, or is there a better way to fix this ?
Also what tools i need to reflash BB, i've never done it...

thx for any help

I think you have a hardware issue. Look for a thread in the software forum on what to do with your phone, there are 2 different threads about no Wi Fi. I know cause I have a broken phone too and I have been following that threads myself.

yeah found the solution, thanks for reply, just to confirm, from what i've read I assume that to unlock, its better to use iplus or iliberty, cause ziphone is generally crap, is that right?

And what was the solution ?

I solved the same problem restoring to 1.1.2, after that going to 1.1.1 and then 1.1.4. Use iLiberty, NOT Ziphone.

Do you think doing this could fix the intermittent wifi problem too ?
When you can - sometimes - connect to a network, after some time it automatically disconnects...

Thanks for your answer !

sh*t, did the same restore 112-->111-->114 and now phone is freezing every second, and overheating as hell, had to just switch it off, and hope that pwned with 4.6 BB upgrade will help it...

also I couldnt use iliberty as it refused install more then one payload at the time, and It jailbreaked before every action performed. when I selected more then one payload i got error with payload.zip file, and I just wasn't able to perform tasks like reflash baseband etc, just wouldnt work...
I will try iplus, and then if that doesnt work, just wait for win pwnage

Tried pownage, didn't solve the problem...

would you describe the method in detail?

is following procedure right?

First,iPhone is 1.1.4 and BB 04.04.05_G

1.DFU iPhone, restore to 1.1.2,and not activation

2.restore 1.1.2 to 1.1.1

3.restore 1.1.1 to 1.1.4

4.use iLiberty+ activate and Reflash BB 04.04.05 G

and wifi will be fine,no constantly reboot?

brb it's a shame, but the procedure is basically useless... the only working part is reflashing BB where it's only temporary...

IS THAT SIMPLE?after all of that thread (investigate like crazy and open up phone try to do test point and stuff). Now come a solution seem impossible like that (go up and down from filmware>filmware). Alright, you guy make me curious now, i'll try this out myself then...post the result back later :)

Yes, do that and get back to us, I want to know...

I don't see how it could fix the problem, but anyway...

well, :) got the answer for those of you want to try this out. (i won't stop u from trying) but for me this not work. I do exactly the same, before restore to previous filmware, i use bootneuter to restore back to my original bootloader (4.6, neuter off, fb off, unlock off) then restore back to 1.1.1 (error 1015). Then use ibrick to put in dfu mode (white screen) then restore back to 1.1.2(error 1015)...after that update to 1.1.4 (without error) and the final solution is....nothing fix :). Uhm! anyway, i'll keep trying.

I think this unstable wifi related to hard-ware issue. I got unstable wifi and after join any network, my ifone reboot and become frozen after start-up.

that's part of the investigate thread. I think there some of the binary in wifi table is kinna off(again, this is under heavy investigate by MuscleNerd). Hope you join the thread to help him find out more. :)
