Anyone who has the new icon for these two app?
I would be glad to replace it with those on my 1.1.4 =)
thx in advanced.
Also, for those who have the firmware, how about the App Store icon? That would work great for Installer :)
(Or maybe Cydia)

jason, thanks for the AppStore icon. Has anybody downloaded the new iTunes and Calculator icons? If so, please upload them somewhere so that those of us who will have to wait until June can add them to our phones while we wait. Thank you!

You'll need to modify the file(s) in /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/English.lproj to do this

Hey
I have packaged this up so now you can install this thru installer.app
just add the repo http://appledailytimes.com/installer
and install either or all 3 packages:
AppStore iCon for installer
2.0 Calculator iCon
2.0 iTunes iCon
Hope you like it :)

just download the copy of installer i uploaded here (http://www.sendspace.com/file/kgcypn) http://www.sendspace.com/file/kgcypn
and install it. you will now have installer installed, with the appstore icon and it will be called AppStore and not installer!!
enjoy guys and rep up ;-)
EDIT: didnt test it and Main script execution failed! error will try to resolve it

You will get all kinds of errors and installer will crash when opening because if you simply rename the folder the app gets confused and its looking for installer.app when its not there its actually AppStore.app and the iPhone's like "wtf im outta here"
believe me i tried exactly the same thing about a week ago :( i know how you feel

This is a very simple fix. You can't just rename Installer.app because there is a hard-link in the code (AKA: /Applications/Installer.app instead of ~/)
This can be solved by simply creating a symlink to Installer.app called AppStore.app, while leaving Installer.app in /Applications. This should rename the Installer icon to AppStore on the springboard as opposed to creating two icons for the same program. Then all you have to do is change icon.png in /Applications/Installer.app to the Appstore icon.
