Hi,

I installed iPhone SDK on my Hackintosh (Kalyway upgraded to 10.5.2 vanilla kernel)
Now my Hackintosh got stuck on the grey screen with apple logo.

I have GA G33M DS2R, Hitachi sata DD, 4GB RAM

All OSx86 Owners! Specialy AMD

Uncheck CHUD Tools in iPhone SDK instalation dialog

Normally CHUD tools would not break your OSx86 install, it might have something to do with the fact that you are using AMD. The black overlay screen you get is called a kernel panic.

if you have already install and get cernel panic, you need reinstall OSx

Sorry if I repeatly ask, I am not an AMD user. Is it true also for Intel Users, or am I with a less bad issue ?

Best regards,

Please post such questions on OSX and Hackint0sh section, not on iPhone section.

No, the question is about SDK on OSx86 - so the post is in right place!

raboliot - reinstall your OS ;) ond then install iPhone SDK without CHUD tools

This will bee in Sticky, because new OSx86 users start to install iPhone SDK on their OSX86 will be in trouble...

You don't need to reinstall the OS. Just boot leopard in verbose mode (-v) to find out what module is causing the kernel panic, then boot in single user mode (-s), do a "mount -uw /" then delete the bad extension. I'd tell you the name of the extension to save you one reboot but I kinda forgot..

Just erase all *CHUD* extensions

Hi,
I cannot find a place to uncheck chud during sdk install. I downloaded the xcode 3.0 image, installed it, and my XCode doesnt run.

Thanks
