Sorry if the formatting is a little weird, but this was just ripped from Notepad when I wrote it.
-NO, it is not really 2.0, it is 1.2
-Bundle name is not "LittleBear", it is "Aspen"
-SDK made apps are a little different than the stock apps. Apart from being in a different directory, they are somewhat like webclips. You hold your finger down on the icon, tap the little 'x', and an "Uninstall Application" dialog appears asking if you would like to uninstall the application
-The frameworks are A LOT different than previous versions. If it gets jailbroken, most apps will definitely have to be rewritten
NEW FEATURE FOUND: There are now parental controls in Settings.
They allow you to control the following:
-Explicit songs on the iPod
-Safari use
-YouTube use
-iTunes Store use
-App Store use
More to come...

hmm..
maybe the formating of the firmware is like :
(1. iphone model). ((1-2).firmware revision). ((1-4) firmware sub revision)
so that for example:
2.1.0 may refer to a new model iphone with its first revision of firmware
so that all current iphones (ie model 1) would have 1.x.x where 1.2.0 is the 2.0 we are expecting in the summer

That very well could be.

cool info :) and i would like the ability to remove the app on the fly directly from the spring board. i briefly played with the SDK yesterday and do remember seeing references to Aspen, I created a simple RSS widget for my blog, didn't get as afar as testing it in the iphone simulator (that is sweet), but i ran it on my mac and it worked perfect, so if i can do that in a couple minutes, the developers are going to be doing great stuff.

Just making note of this, I haven't looked into it really at all, but it looks like something will be able to be imported from iWork

Did apple send you the beta 2.0 FW? or are these all assumptions?

Actually, these "assumptions" appear to have come from:
The Keynote on March 6th
The SDK Documentation
The Aspen Simulator within the SDK
As far as I know, Apple hasn't started releasing the 2.0FW beta to any applicants yet, but I could be wrong about that...
Cheers,

No offense, but how would I have found out about the Parental Controls feature purely from assuming? :)

True, now I feel like an idiot, lol
EDIT: got a copy which I can have a play with? They will not send me the beta just because I'm in the UK

I don't have the beta per se, but the filesystem is included in the SDK. I would like to add that I also feel like an idiot, because I got an email with a zip of the filesystem from a hacker friend of mine, and I thought it was all top secret and that he somehow got the beta, then I found out in IRC that it was known.
EDIT:

^That's how I got it, if you have uTorrent or something like that. The site was being raped to death the other night so that was only way to get it.

Just to update you all, I may have just found a way to get AppStore working. Will update you all as I progress...

cool but what would be better is getting the 2.0 framework working on the 1.1 firmware so that we can run sdk apps on our current phones... perhaps a 2.0SDK via Installer.app :)
That would be sexy

Man I can't even get it to show up, using the modmyifone download. How did they even get this? The AppStore that I found on mine was all gutted and stuff.

All of these findings are from the SDK within the Aspen simulator (iPhone simulator).
Developer > Platforms > AspenSimulator.platfrom > Developer > SDKs > AspenSimulator1.2.sdk > Applications and then right click on Preferences.app and view contents.
Open General.plist
You'll see two new links within it:
1) Parental control
2) Managed profiles
Within Parental Controls.plist you'll note all the settings mentioned above by the other poster. This simulator is exactly just that, however one would assume it's a mirror of what will be in 2.0.
In fact, here's what the parental controls look like enabled:

The one I put up on MMi should at least show up on your SpringBoard, but not boot. I posted that one, because it's as far as I've gotten.
Slimnicky, have you managed to get Profiles to show up? I want to see what's within it, but I don't know how.
If anyone wants a bigger Preferences.app, just go to the place that slimnicky mentioned above, and the in Preferences.app, rename General-iPhone.plist to General-Simulator.plist, and then the same with Settings-iPhone.plist

No, profiles won't show for me either.
