Download the icon here. You can replace Cydia's icon with it.

If you want to be really sneaky and fool your iPhone toting friends, copy Installer.app to /var/mobile/Installer.app and create a symlink named AppStore.app.

Hey everyone,

I thought you might like this: its an installer package that will change installer.app icon to the appstore one. Just uninstall to remove.

To get it, add the source

appledailytimes.com/installer

Or if you already have the source, refresh your sources. There will be a new category called apple daily times, and inside it there will be appstore icon for installer package.

If you wanna be s00p3r 00b3r 133754uc3 then head over to the downloads section on modmyifone and get the real AppStore.app. (Although it won't run on 1.1.* :p)

Doesn't work, Installer icon disappears from Springboard, if you just rename Installer.app to AppStore.app it crashes.

If you're using WinSCP, the process is a little infuriating sometimes.

Duplicate Installer.app to /var/Mobile/Installer.app, then manually create a symlink that points to /var/mobile/Installer.app in /Applications called AppStore.app.

Unfortunately Installer.app doesn't work unless it's in the exact location it's installed to (Probably some code that hard-points to /Applications/Installer.app instead of ~/Installer.app), so at the very least you'll have the icon, but the app itself will just crash back to springboard.

EDIT: Actually, it seems as though you don't have to move Installer.app at all. Just make a symlink to Installer.app called AppStore.app. It should work just fine, albeit just a touch slower.
