SSH files on mac?

Hi I am still having problems with re installing ssh. I was wondering if the problem could be files writen to my mackbook that is stopping/conflicting with the reinstall. Just to recap. I had to restore the iphone due to some NES issues. When running through the SSh install I can access ssh through terminal but not through other progs like cyberduck and fugu. I have done the reinstall many times with the same issue. Any help greatly appreciated.

Have you installed sftp-server back to /usr/libexec?

And... if you did. Did you chmod +x it? from ssh via terminal.
