Hey guys,

Im trying to complete getting Youtube to work but im running into a little problem. Im attempting to login via WinSCP and I dont have a wireless router(haha laugh all you want) so my question is...is there a different way to get into the program to make the changes to the iphone? I have looked around to see if their is a way to do it with iphoneinterface but I have not found anything.

Any help would be great cause I really want YouTube and Yahoo Mail to work!

Thanks!

OK, I'm probably just thrown off by your question, but I don't know whether using SCP/SSH (or even accessing the phone's filesystem at all) would be the best way to get YouTube and Yahoo Mail working. Unless I'm joining this conversation in the middle, we're going to need more information to solve whatever problem you're having. Why don't YouTube or (Yahoo) Mail work?

If you're really lost or confused, perhaps the best thing to do would be to plug the phone in, start up iTunes, and restore it to factory conditions.

quick answer, there is an instruction on "putfile" in Step 14 from this page: http://www.hacktheiphone.com/iphone_using_cingular_for_windows.html

also similar syntax for "getfile" under iphoneinterface

you dont need scp or ssh to get youtube working... ifuntastic 2.5 comes with a program called iphuc... using the getfile and putfile commands, will allow you to get youtube working by modifying your iphone through the usb cable.... no need for wifi for it to work....

my question is... if you dont have wifi... why would you even care if they work or not?
