Now that the software unlock has been released even for 1.1.3. can we update and unlock our hardware unlocked 1.1.2 otb to 1.1.3 or we have to wait again?
If we can please tell me how. :D ;)
BTW can we update and unlock to 1.1.3 without data and settings loss?

welly welly wellll....
i must say that it pisses me a bit or so, especially cause of the (as they say) 'cosmetic' consecuences that this process left over..
But this awesome feeleng of achievement & success sparklin' with pride after the first unlock is really somethin that will hold 4ever in Ur 'Album Of Emotions', due 2 all issues that were in stake in that moment.
This mabe does not apply to Pro-Unlockers (equipped with proper tools & knowhow), but 4 microelectro-rookies like myself this is(and probabily will b) one of the greatest and toughest goals ever made!!!
save it, back it up, this'll b a good story 4 ur grandchildren....

The new software unlocker developed by geohot for 112/113OOTB is only meant for 4.6 bootloader.
If you had done h/w unlock, you bootloader will be 3.9.
So, You cannot/should not use the new unlocker.
A new anysim1.3 is being developed. You should use that to unlock after upgrading to 1.1.3

the hardware unlock is better. Because you hardware unlocked you have bootloader 3.9. You can use iTunes to RESTORE to 1.1.3 then use ziphone -j -a to activate and jailbreak your phone. Then use installer to install bsd subsystem and anySIM 1.3 from iclarified (already out and working), enable airplane mode and then run anysim to unlock.
That gives you real 1.1.3 and 4.03.

Is there any way not to loose any data and contacts. You know if i restore to 1.1.3 then all of my settings and contacts will be lost.

You can UPDATE, but make sure you remove all your third party applications first (except installer.app). People have been reporting issues updating/removing third party apps i they were left in place prior to jailbreaking 1.1.3
Restore is almost always better in this race.

Do I have to restore in DFU mode?
Do I have to use my At&T sim or I can use my current SIM?

i did a dfu to get me up from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 via itunes 7.5 ran the i.unlock gui method without the option to unlock - so only jailbreak and activate
then installed BSD subsystem 2.1 installed anysim 1.3 and all ok
this from HW unlock phone .. the cosmetic damage bugged me so now in the process of making an all new Black cover (this is also a nice sense of achievement) since cnn.cn sells the black without all the innards..
before iclose it up i think i will take it to a friend who is a microcircuit pro to just install a testpoint switch which i can access only by removing the antenna cover..
not even sure its worth it but he can do this for me in 5mins.. so what the hell why not..

I restored to 1.1.3 and unlocked it using anySim. But I have a problem with the 1.1.3. My WiFi will disconnect every time I push the Home button. I reseted the network settings in the general but nothing happened.

hello,
if you have the 4.6 bootloader you can easily restore to 1.1.3 with itunes and then use this really pretty easy one-click-wonder here http://home.no/geezuzz/ZiPhoneGUI.exe this is the ziphone app but w/o command lines. after restoring force dfu mode and then one click. 3 minutes and ready. amazing
did 2 iphone this evening. works great.
