Well, it seems to prove that the delays in releasing a solutinon for 4.6 are not only because they are testing, but because they are trying to maintain control of it. It is not anymore about releasing solutions to the public, but about ownership and control. Not much difference with Apple...

I don't think this is a simple software unlock. From what I read it will require a special Simcard. No?

I wouldn't expect them to release a way of building a simcard, to allow one to downgrade the bootloader, to the masses.

the reason tis not been released is because it is not complete, and is in a state of progressing/evolving and if you read the first thing in the document is says/asks not to post/blog this :(

I think the teams should have posted *something* about this, something like "yes, we _will_ have an unlock. Be patient!".

Now, a lot of people have bricked their phones trying to h/w unlock it...

I hope they NEVER release it and point to zibri as a reason... altho that wouldnt be fair to people that are stuck on 4.6 BL but ok...
