I just got in US and I wonder if I have any chances to get an IPhone from Apple that has a version of software that can be jailbreaked?
If is jailbreacked that means that I can use it like an ITouch?

Is this firmware 1.1.2 and the bootloader 4.6 the latest out of box that can be software jailbreaked to be used as a ITouch?

Are there any new phones that have firmware 1.1.3 and the bootloader 4.6?

Please let me know if I can check this in a store before buying the phone.

Thanks.

Whatever version you buy you SURELY can JAILBREAK it. (use it as ipod touch)

Regardint the SIM-(un)lock:

If you buy 1.1.2-otb (may be difficult, but it's possible) you can hardware downgrade the bootloader using testpoint (neeed to open the iphone) OR you can buy a x-sim solution.

If you buy 1.1.3-otb, you can't do anything yet, just sit, wait, and pray for a future sim-unlock solution.

Just go in to the Apple Shop and buy one, when it comes to pay just ask kindly and with your whisper that you like to have 1.1.2 version. I know many cases that it works. If they dont have they will tell you and you can change your mind of buying it.
