Cant Restore Error 1002 & 1011 Help

Hi,

Was unsuccessful at Hardware Unlock...fone crashed after erasing baseband. Now I cant restore iphone to any version.....it hangs at "restoring firmware".

Now I have the "repair need" screen with no imei...wifi..etc

Is my fone bricked? Or is there any way to revive it without resorting to restoring to 1.1.3?

Also has anyone had any luck returning their phone in this state to the store and getting a replacement?

Hi

I was in your situation... If you upgrade to Itunes 7.6 you will be able to restore 1.1.1, 1.1.2 If you can, try to put 1.0.2 on it (if you have a phone after week 47 forget about that It wont work) After 1.0.2 is on Jailbreak using Ibrickr, Search around here there is plenty of turotials showing you how to recover your IMEI ICCID WIFI......

If you can't put 1.0.2 the only way then (the way i took)is toRestore 1.1.3 whit Itunes, then downgrade to 1.1.1, jailbreak, upgrade to 1.1.2, search again to find wats next

I can`t restore to any version besides my iphone stays in the boot screen and when i connect to the iphone says error 1604 that happens after HW unlock succesfully but i didn`t use the virginator

Thanx for the response. Unfortunately I have Week 47. And i tried it with itunes 7.6 and 1.0.2 :(

i have same as problem, error 1011, i am trying to all itunes version 7.3, 7.43, 7.5.2. 7.6 and bothe firmwares 1.0.2, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, and 1.1.3 but still not succes,

i try to hadrware unlock, my mistake is after erase bootloader not write bbupdater etc :(

I'm having the same problem and tried everything you did to.
Maybe with geohot's unlock we could restore through itunes and then unlock it?

Somebody has a tip on what i should do best?

use the ZiPhone tool with -u option.

c:\ZiPhone\ziphone.exe -u

follow the instructions to put your phone in recovery mode or just hold both buttons till recovery screen appears. :)

if your phone don't come back, begin to check your A17 trace cause its almost certainly that you broke it.

Restored to 1.1.3 which fixed everything and then used ZiPhone.
