Is it possible to downgrade an 1.1.3 OTB iPhone to 1.1.1
and proceed like in the unlock.no tutorial?
And if not: why?
imo,the bootloader is the same and it should be working!
greetings,
StArCHiLd

Edit:Forget the question, sorry i'm a dumbass and didn't read that the baseband software is another, sry!

Exactly.

For 1.1.3 HW unlock you need Secpack from next Baseband.

Yes it is possible to downgrade & unlock OTB 1.1.3 but its very technical & need special tools/equipments. It takes to remove the baseband chip & erase the whole baseband area in it.

The current 1.1.2 OTB unlock method wont work because we only have 1.1.3 secpac. Bootloader 4.6 only accepts higher version secpac not the current.

So the bottom line is you can unlock 1.1.3 OTB by testpoint method but you need the new secpac & that will be 1.1.4.

Regards,

Francis.

So do you have directions for the technical and special tools/equipment?
