[Drama] Zibri's behavior

It seems that tonight Zibri decided unilaterally the Elite team wiki was no longer a group effort. Without consulting any of us, he stripped away all owners *and* members from the googlecode project except for himself.

This speaks volumes of how Zibri thought of the community. It obviously was never about the community for him, and that's regrettable. He has decided to take what he thought was *his* ball and go home. He is not a team player, and frankly he never was.

I know that the community will continue to contribute despite the likes of Zibri.

Big misunderstanding here.
The wiki is there and it will remain there.
But you should the first, musclenerd, to know that there is no elite-team anymore, nobody was writing to that wiki from months. And we joined forces with the other dev team (you included) so.. I don't see the problem.
aCujo and other "kids" showed their real plans.. and I left the irc server yesterday.
It had no meaning to keep 2 windows open with the same people.

Even if people already forgot it, i started iphone-elite, the google page and the website (with the kind help of viper and tifel).

People were free to join and contribute... but many joined only to ask "when is the unlock ready?!?" "my dog bricked my phone, can you help?"...

About the contributors, all skilled people already joined the combined dev team and we are producing results.

So i don't see the point of all this.

Both Pmgr and I wrote to that wiki in last *week*.

So, either you are so out of the loop that you don't not know that, or you are intentionally misleading the community.

Which is it? Misleading us or lieing.

That was not a cut-out... just a precaution.
Don't worry.
The wiki is for knlowledge and whoever wants to add knowledge to that wiki will be re-added.

Zibri, I just wanted to let you know that I just posted a working 8900 decrypter last wednesday. Yes, it had been quiet on the Elite site, but sometimes things are quiet for a while till progress is made. That is just the nature of the work.

And as it seems that the contributing members have moved into the "new combined dev-team" now, so maybe you can just rename the site with a name that points to this new team.

I would like to ask you to add me back on the list of contributors since I would like to keep on posting anything that I think is useful to the community.

In the same way I suggest that if others wish to contribute that they ask you the same thing, to be added back if they have something useful for the community to post.

B.t.w. I do see the point of the Elite site (or the to be "new combined dev team" site): it has an organized structure to it and it is a lot easier to find important things than to search forums like this.

Also, I hope all of us (both developers and community) can respect each other and treat each other with compassion and tolerance. One should be able to comment on people's behavior, but do it in a nice way; you never know what the situation of the person on the receiving site is like. And for all of us, what good is it to curse people in the forums?

A positive "stick together" way is the only way for this community effort to survive and have the jailbreaking/unlocking development progress (sometimes slowly) but steadily. And isn't that what all of us would like to see?

If there is no Devteam, I posted on the donation thread if there is a reason to keep those donation threads up and the donation pool open since both Elite teams take no $ donations and no devteam left.

I find this funny... yes entertaining... but a good thing because both sites say they are a group that "don't like secrecy" :rolleyes:
