No offense, but since you're a new member so i m just gonna ask; have you activated and jailbroke the iphones yet?

If you did jailbroke the iphones then try using a lil bit of tape to keep the sim cards align be4 putting them in.

And if that doesn’t work just get a new SIM card from your carrier, guaranty it will fix the problem.

I’m speaking from personal experience.

I have used many stealthsims too and i have encountered this problem a few times but only with the last generation SIM cards.

However, the good news its that it seems to be a physical problem only, some of the new SIM cards are a little bit thinner that previous one.

In every case i have managed to get it to work by using one or both of these 2 options:
- bend the Stealhsim a little bit toward the Sim card to improve the contact
- attach a little layer at the back of the SIM card (a post-it note or Avery label piece)

then it becomes a little harder to insert the SIM+Stealth back in the phone but take your time and it will work

I also just jailbroke my phone via the iclarified method. However, when i put in my stealthsim, i get the Invalid SIM msg. I don't know what else to do. I have tried the bending thing, I've taped my sim to the stealthsim... Any one have some help to offer?

I had installed around 50 Stealth SIMs in the past months. But the new ones are just a pain in the a**. I already tried new carrier SIMs, different iPhones, and nothing worked...

Maybe out of date but THE second option worked perfectly after, get this, 122 tries with alignment and what not. Thanx a lot. I think this could be a good sticky for all the StealthSim NO SIM problem.

I am curious, will my carrier provider (Tmobile) just give me one? My current sim card is at least 5 years old. The sim is actually from back when tmobile was voicestream. Is it possible this could be a problem? I have tried aligning this thing a whole bunch (over 50) of times. It's frustrating to say the least and is taking the wind out of my sails.

Here is a list of messages I get...Invalid Sim, No Sim, Locked Sim & Sim Failure.

Thanks

In case anyone is having the same problem I did, I may have a solution. I went to t-mobile and told them I lost my sim(the guy looked at me like I was crazy). They replaced it for $20, which I called tmobile to complain about and got back credit). I went home, slapped that bad boy in and now my tmobile works on my iphone. Still having issues getting edge to work. baby steps.

After trying SIMs for several very long hours... I realized that the problem is that the new Stealth Sims doesn’t work very good with chips that look like this
http://the-gadgeteer.com/assets/iphoneday7.jpg

I tried like 2 or 3 hours without luck… Then I tried it with this other kind of chip
http://www.oomobile.com/images/att-sim.jpg

And it worked like a charm the first time!!!!
I think this it’s a design flaw and a pain in the a** for people like me, that live in a country that only has the chips that don’t work (at least after 3 hours of trying)!!!

phone said no SIM. Tried to put in at&t (activated) sim to see if I had a signal. Tried again with Nextsim and now said invalid SIM...connect to iTunes.

Stupid me, I connected to Itunes. Phone went into recovery mode and then went crazy....

no screen now, just code running and phone rebooting. doesnt stop! Tried couple times to turn off but each time the phone loops and just runs lines of code and reboots.

am i in deep doo-doo? was I suppose to virginize phone? HELP:confused:

Guys, I had the same problem and as suggested by someone in this thread, try the idea of putting some form of tape over the tray so it gets thicker and makes good contact. I tried more than 100 times with the att and other sims and didnt work. When I put the bandage tape on the tray both worked at the first try. Theres everything to gain nothing to loose but tape.

I wish I had the same luck.

StealthSIM really sucks, it's the most expensive xSIM and the one that gives more problems
