You have to install OktoPrep and then update to 1.1.2 with iTunes. Then run jailbreak.jar, install iWorld ans if your phone was unlocked before, it will still be, if it's not unlocked, run anySIM1.2.1u with Airplane Mode On.

PS: Answering your question, the baseband for a 1.1.1 OTB is 04.01.13_G

good luck

NO need to downgrade baseband.
You had an OTB phone jailbroken/unlocked/activated. when you upgrade to 1.1.2 your baseband also upgraded from 04.01.xx_G to 04.02.XX_G. Because of this, you have to unlock the phone again.

now what you should do is download oktoprep, run it, connect to itune and shift-click update (selecting 1.1.2 FW image NOT NOT 1.1.3).

Once the phone is done updating, you need to run jailbreak-1.1.2 on the PC to jailbreak the phone. After that, download anySIM 1.2.1u, put phone in airplane mode, run anySIM 1.2.1u to unlock.
When done, turn off airplane mode and reboot the phone.

remember to set autolock to never when working on phone.

don't double post. It's hard for people try to help you.
on your phone, make sure you have BSD and openSSH installed.
You ssh from your PC or Mac ??.
From PC, download putty and use it.
On Mac, open terminal and run ssh.
What did you use that gave you that gethostbyname error.

:)
So you all cool now?. winSCP is just file transfer program, it does not give you a shell / terminal prompt. Putty is what you need.
if you use winSCP to transfer file, make sure the protocol is sftp and not scp
