I bought from some guy a phone brand new week 52.
The phone is 1.1.1 ver ( he downgraded it) and has a base band 4.03.13.
The phone is jailbroken and has installer and summerprfs and couple of other softwares.
When reboting the iphone and turning on again it says the the sim is inccorect (at&t new sim in it). This message usually got while putting different sim in already register phone.

I tried to put my at&t sim from my other iphone and it's not working, i tried to put t-mobile sim with stealth sim and it is not working either.

I think that there is a possibilty that this iphone was legit activated first.

The wired thing is that if it dosent make sence that someone will register it only to open the phone and then to sell it. The phone is with all it's nylon wraps never been used.

From what i understood there is no way to jailbreak 1.1.3 otb right?

If the phone was really 1.1.2 at first how can i be sure? Can i downgrade the baseband?

The bootloder is 4.6_M3S2

I dont want to do a restore and then to have a brick or something like that.

Please advice me what can i do

Thanks.

Hi,
I guess he accidentally upgraded your iphone to 1.1.3. and then got the new baseband. It is possible to use your iphone as an ipod touch, but you can't make calls or send messages, until the next baseband get out.

irafas is right. Sinec he went 1.1.3 before BL downgrade, there is no way to downgrade your baseband at the moment.
