this might be a stupid qustion but humor me please.
the copied sim card has to be 128v1 complient so it can be cloned and used in iphone.
I read that the older 16K and 32K cards ar also easily cloned but my question is will there work with this method and in the iphone or will there be problems?

Ok guys, if anyone can help me on this i would really appreciate it.
I have used all Woron scan, SimEasy, MagicSim to crack my Ki...all of the software can get me the Ki, all same result, however, when I click verify Ki on SimEasy, or Check Pairs on Woron scan, I get pairing error, or mismatch outcome..
when i use this Ki on my clone sim, i get "sim not allowed" on my phone.. which leads me to believe that my cracked Ki is wrong..

Is there a chance that woron and other Ki cracking software giving out wrong results? maye this only occurs if you have V2 cards?? (i dont know which version simcard i have)

can anyone help?

Would it be possible to use this method to defeat the sim lock on another type of phone? From what I'm reading it looks possible, but I don't understand what the second hex file is for. The first one contains the IMSI from both ATT and your carrier right? I have a Japanese phone which I don't think can be unlocked from what I've read but it supports GSM as well as Japanese WCDMA. I think my only other option would be to find someone at the local ATT store to activate a foreign SIM card on their network.. I don't know if they can do that.. I'm sure that they're not supposed to, but they might with a little cash incentive if it is possible.:cool:

mikeman400: both hex files are required to ensure proper functioning of the silvercard. It's not just related to IMSI...

don't think ATT will help you out even with "bribery", but you can certainly try :)

Ok well both files are required... Is the second file unique to the Iphone or is it something any phone could execute? I'm asking what the function of the second file is also could this possibly work on another type of phone.

Ahh.. I guess I'm just spoiled after going to Japan and having a nice phone that does all kinds of stuff.. Its actually a base model there, but here in the US it kicks ass.. Well, not compared to an iphone, but still way better than most any phone here. It even has a video phone.

not specific to iphone. the silver card need the two files (FLASH and EEPROM) to work.

Ok, i spend the day cracking my V1 sim.

There are two guides, the one posted here

They each can be used. In the first guide, you dont need the ICCID of your carrier, BUT from AT&T on pos. 9 and in the second one, you need the ICCID of your carrier on pos. 0.

I followed the instructions with another SIM. I have IMSI, ICCID and key, but the supersim won't work. If I run WoronScan 5 times over the SuperSim, it gives me the first time my local IMSI, then once AT&T's IMSi and the next 3 times my local IMSI again. What am I doing wrong?
