Hey all, I've been having massive trouble getting iphuc to install. I get make errors every time. I've upgraded my dev tools (im on a mac book pro), and tried to reinstall everything - macports, readline, etc.. and still get the make errors.

I want to completely remove everything and start over fresh. How do I do that? Can I just delete the "opt" folder and then reinstall? I've tried to reinstall already without deleting anything, and everything goes to install and then stops, saying that it is already installed...

I am just totally frustrated as it's been several days, countless threads on numerous forums and IRC..... with no success at all. I don't know where to go next and I am afraid that I may just have to resolve myself to just using the iPhone stock and be happy with that (ack! :eek: )

I didn't touch my iPhone for the past couple of days, simply because it is senseless. Until the unlock isn't available, playing around with it and trying all kind of mods and third party apps is a loss of valuable time for me. In the end, when the unlock will be (hopefully) available, most of the mods would be useless since I'm pretty sure that the iPhone has to be brought to it's initial state first to make sure that the unlock works properly afterwards.

So my iPhone sits on my office desk, untouched, like a virgin (in jail, no mods) and waits for the final challenge. ;)

Okay, after two restores and a thousand different guides followed, binaries, installs, etc... I gave up.

I then attempted installing ssh through Windows through VMware on my mac... this worked. (how sad/cool is that?)

Then installed sftp-server - done
Now, installed launcher.app etc.. everything is great. Just had to use Windows to get the ball rolling... damn it!
