...hi to all, 4give me if this has been asked already, how can we know if we have V1 simcard...
...i'm on TMo USA and has been using the sim for 3 years now, is there any identifying marks on the sim that will make u identify if it's V1 or not...
...thanks in advance!

No unfortunately there is no guaranteed way to identify.
In the UK, some old SIMs on the Orange network had the amount of Text Message and Phone Book Entries they were capable of storing screen printed on the back.
This can give an indication of age but it is by their distinguishing marks and my experience, not via anything as easy as a coded version number etc (we wish) :-)
Some old SIM's also state their physical memory like 16k etc , again these could be used as an indicator but only if someone started a database of SIM's :-)
e.g. If people thought it was a good idea, a new thread could be started where people only posted a picture of crackable SIM's. You never know, SIM spotting could become a hobby like phone card, match box & pin collectors etc :-)
Lastly, countries vary also, in the UK, you would require a SIM older than around 5 years to be successful but I have heard some countries still only use V1 SIM's !!

P.S.
If anyone were to post pictures of working SIM's, they would need to blur out any ICCID markings for obvious reasons :-)

You don't seem to understand: the only way how to know if it is a V1 SIM is to actually try a Ki scan on it. Is it really that difficult to understand?!
Buy a compatible reader (the forum is full of recommendations), download Woron Scan, try it. If it works, get a Silvercard.
This is the ONLY way. OK?!
